HOW ARE YOU
On Main Street’s Car Free Day 2013, I set up a pop-up photo-studio in a Boler on the corner of Main Street and East 24th Avenue (Vancouver BC). Throughout the day, close to 100 passersby were invited to remove their shoes, enter the space within the Boler, and collaborate through a photographically documented conversation. Three portraits were captured: straight on (image left), eyes closed (image middle), and one after I asked the question “How are you actually doing today?” (image right).
A triptych was created from each conversation and shared through Capture Photography Festival and MOV’s An Evolutionary Look into Vancouver Street Photography.
